Now that Love & Hip Hop has returned, Yandy has sadly found herself appearing in a new season without her husband. However, just because Mendeecees isn't on the show doesn't mean we didn't check in with him to see how he's holding up.

In this exclusive, we let the cameras roll as Yandy received a impromptu call from Mendeecees, and what transpired was a touching phone call between husband and wife.

"The crazy thing is, I've never felt closer to you than I feel now that we're so far apart," Yandy said to Mendeecees who is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence.
