VH1's 'Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party' Renewed For Season Two

The winning pair is going to cook up more fun for us.

The first season of Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner has been a thrill ride. From Martha Stewart and Rick Ross getting steamy in the kitchen, to watching Snoop Dogg terrified of lobsters, to Martha's gangster method for killing chickens, the show is riddled with comedy gold moments. So much so, that the highly acclaimed cooking show has already been picked up for Season 2. More Snoop. More Martha. What else could you want?

VH1, in partnership with Sequential Brands Group, MERRY JANE and 495 Productions, announced the renewal of “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” for a second season.

The decision to bring back the weekly dinner parties was a no-brainer, since the series debuted as cable’s top new unscripted franchise of 2016, winning its time period with all key demos and scoring 3 million total viewers.

Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party features Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg as they host weekly dinner parties with famous celebrity friends. In each episode, Martha and Snoop put a personal spin on dishes for a themed meal. Among the guests who appear are: Seth Rogen, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Jamie Chung, 2 Chainz, Naya Rivera, Ashley Graham, Jason Derulo, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Kathy Griffin, Kelis, Ashlee Simpson-Ross and Evan Ross, Keke Palmer, Chris Bosh, DJ Khaled and Robin Thicke. Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party also features musical guests D.R.A.M., Dreezy, October London, the Long Beach City College Marching Band, Remy Ma & Fat Joe and Anderson Paak.

"Martha and Snoop are the modern day 'Odd Couple' and the reigning King and Queen of pop culture. Wait until you see what happens in season two.” said Chris McCarthy, President MTV, VH1 and Logo.

“I hoped that people would find our new show a pleasant change from the cut-throat competition shows that food television has evolved into. Time for a change – food should be fun and enjoyable, involving friends and family. I am pleased that Snoop and I will be able to bring our various styles of cooking to a broader audience.” stated Martha Stewart.

"That's right, me and my homegirl Martha will be back for another season and we can't wait," said Snoop Dogg. "Thanks to all the fans who tuned into Season 1. If ya'll thought this season was fun, wait 'til you see what we have cookin' up next for ya.”
