From slandering former besties Jay Z and Beyoncé to praising Donald Trump, Kanye West’s erratic and unexpected behavior has raised concerns about his well-being. On Monday night, reports quickly spread that Yeezy had been hospitalized for exhaustion and a reported nervous breakdown only hours after the rapper cancelled the final leg of his Saint Pablo tour. Some of Yeezy’s closest friends and collaborators have since taken to social media to uplift the rapper during his time of need.
Coloring Book rapper Chance the Rapper used a live performance on the U.K.’s BBC Radio 1Xtra to send Yeezy well wishes. “I want to extend a very special prayer to my big brother Kanye West. I know it’s a lot of weird folks out there but you already know I’m 100 grand and I want to just extend this prayer and extend this love from all the way in Britain. We might come back early to see this man, happy Thanksgiving,” he rapped while performing “All We Got.”
The well wishes didn’t stop with Chance. A slew of other celebs came forward using their platform to encourage the rapper.
The easy thing to do is make Kanye West jokes.
The compassionate thing to do is hope he's ok and gets the help he needs.— andy lassner (@andylassner) November 22, 2016
I don't know @kanyewest personally but I know he's a human. He's not an idea, a song, a concept, he's a person. Sending love + prayers
