Kimbella joined Love & Hip Hop as Yandy’s friend and let’s just say her arrival wasn’t particularly well received by the then queen of New York Chrissy Lampkin and her BFFs Emily and Olivia. Chrissy and Kim’s introduction was definitely awkward as they danced around the fact that their men were best friends but they had barely met. Chrissy then assessed that maybe Kim was touched, “When I hear Kimbella speak, it’s almost like she’s not coherent or she’s like, high on mushrooms or something, all day. She’s, a-la-la, like a space cadet.” Things continued to go down the wrong way when Kim revealed to Yandy that she once dated Fabolous when unbeknownst to her his girlfriend Emily was pregnant. Of course, this would all come out. (This is still all Kim’s first episode, mind you.) And Chrissy would pop Kim in Emily’s defense leading to Kimbella’s now infamous, “Still pretty” line.
