Tommy Chong Finds a Silver Lining in His Cancer Diagnosis: More Marijuana

Famed comedian Tommy Chong doesn't like to focus on the negative. That was very apparent when he used Twitter yesterday to reveal that he is currently battling rectal cancer. (According to Us Weekly, this comes three years after the actor defeated prostate cancer.)

"I have good news and bad news," he tweeted. "First the bad news, the cancer came back and it's a real pain in the butt... The good news is I now have to use more marijuana to treat the cancer."

We love how positive Tommy is being with his situation. Us Weekly goes on to report that Tommy has been a big advocate for marijuana, and he even told the magazine it's an intricate part of his treatment process. "I'm using cannabis like crazy now, more so than ever before," he told Us. "I'm in treatment now. I've been — just the case either way, either I get healed or I don't. But either way, I’m going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up."
