Madonna is alive and she’s proud of it!
The Material Girl dished about outliving Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston, Tupac and a slew of other musical icons while accepting Billboard’s “Woman of the Year” award last night (December 9).
“People say that I’m so controversial, but I think the most controversial thing I have ever done is stick around,” she explained. Not too bad right? Things took an awkward turn when she followed up saying, “Michael is gone. Tupac is gone. Prince is gone. Whitney is gone. Amy Winehouse is gone. David Bowie is gone. But I’m still standing.”
Madge’s comments didn’t sit too well with Twitter users who couldn’t help but question the singer for comparing her plight to that of her peers who have passed away.
Madonna said they're gone as if they faded into oblivion… sis they died lol.

Michael, Prince, Bowie, Tupac, Amy. Besides being dead, the other thing they have in common is they died while making great work. Madonna?

Does Madonna understand that MJ, Tupac, Amy, Prince, etc all died and didn't just quit music?
