Donald Trump Called John Lewis, One Of The Great Civil Rights Leaders Of Our Time, "All Talk"
He marched on Selma. He has been arrested for non-violent protest over 45 times. But sure, he's "all talk."
Just two days before Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter to bash one of the most important living figures of the U.S. civil rights movement, Congressman John Lewis. Lewis said on Meet The Press that he believes that the Russian hacking scandal helped Trump win the election, and added "I don't see this president-elect as a legitimate president." He also revealed that he has no plans to attend the Inauguration for the first time in his Congressional career. Trump hit back, saying that his detractor was "all talk."
We beg to differ.
Like his mentor and friend Martin Luther King, Jr, this man has no fear. And he makes us proud.
