Jamie Lynn Spears' 8-Year-Old Daughter Hospitalized After Terrifying Accident

UPDATE (2/8): We have good news and better news! According to TMZ, Jamie Lynn Spears' daughter, Maddie, is now able to breathe on her own as she recovers from her nearly fatal ATV accident. In even better news, a source close the Spears family reveals that the 8-year-old girl regained consciousness on Tuesday. "Doctors were able to remove the ventilator today and she is awake and talking," the rep told People. Maddie is still receiving oxygen, but she did not suffer any neurological damage.

Jamie Lynn Spears' 8-year-old daughter, Maddie, is reportedly in critical condition after a terrible ATV accident. According to TMZ, Maddie was on an ATV off-road vehicle during a hunting expedition when it flipped over. She was reportedly submerged under water unconscious for several minutes before she was airlifted to a hospital. Jamie Lynn was not with her daughter at the time of the accident.
