Drake Says He's Distancing Himself After Kanye West Called His Music Overplayed

Drizzy isn't here for Yeezy's shade.

Like many of us, Drake was confused by Kanye West's random outbursts during his Saint Pablo tour last year. West's claims that radio stations 'overplayed' music by hip hop A-listers, like Drake and DJ Khaled, rubbed the Views emcee the wrong way.

Drake opened up about his feelings on Yeezy's unexpected shade during an interview on Beats 1's OVO Sound Radio.

"I think everybody has their own little things going on. I'm not really sure what he's referring to half the time because, in the same breath, I went from working on a project with him to him sort of, like, publicly s--ting on me and DJ Khaled for being on the radio too much," Drake explained.

"When I hear that, I just distance myself from it," he continued. "If that's what it is, I don't even really understand the point you're trying to make, but whatever it is that you're going through, I accept it. I don't respect it at all. Me and Khaled are both just, like, good people. I'm not really sure why we're the target of your choice that you made that night. But again, I accept what you're going through," Drake concluded.

Drake also touched on his feud with Meek Mill and controversy surrounding "Hotline Bling" winning big at the Grammys throughout his hour length Beats 1 interview.
