Beyoncé and Jay Z made a surprise appearance at the Weinstein Company and Grey Goose's pre-Oscar party.

Arriving fashionably late, the couple entered the party while Cynthia Erivo, Corbin Bleu and Christopher Jackson performed a medley of In the Heights celebrating the Tony-award winning Broadway musical Hamilton.

Weinstein Company head, Harvey Weinstein reportedly restarted the performance so Jay and Bey could see it in its entirety. Weinstein joked about the Carter's lateness saying, "He's got a good reason if you look at his wife."

E! News correspondent Marc Malkin and LA Times journo Amy Kaufman took to social media sharing footage of Jay Z and Beyoncé enjoying the festivities.

This outing marks the couple's first night on the town since news broke that a very pregnant Beyoncé would not be headlining the Coachella festival per doctor's orders.
