Oprah Winfrey, like many of us, never thought someone from the entertainment industry could switch fields (and skip the necessary experience) by running for President. Alas, Donald Trump is happening. Sure, the majority of Americans are not so thrilled about it. But it's got Oprah thinking...

During a sit down with “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations” on Bloomberg Television, Oprah was asked if she's considered running for President given that her popularity and longstanding status as a role model for women gives her a strong competitive edge.

The media mogul replied, “I never considered the question even a possibility. I just thought, ‘Oh.’ I thought, ‘Oh, gee, I don’t have the experience. I don’t know enough.’ And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh.’”

This is a much different response from Oprah than the one she gave on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “The one thing I know for sure is I will never run for office,” Oprah said on the night show, brushing off compliments that she could have effortlessly beat Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the election.
