Queen Maya Rudolph Impersonating Rachel Dolezal Will Save You From All Tuesday Struggles

A trailblazing, Oscar-worthy performance if there ever was one.

It's a damn good day, because Maya Rudolph just delivered the present we've all been waiting for: A spot-on Rachel Dolezal impression.

While stopping by Late Night with Seth Meyers last night, Seth asked Maya if she's been asked about doing an impersonation of Rachel, the former NAACP Washington chapter president who pretended to be black for more than a decade. (She gets asked about it daily, according to her interview.)

And then it happened. Seth asked Maya if she'd be willing to do a Rachel impression on the spot, and she obliged because she's a GD queen. Donning Rachel's now-signature wig, Maya delivered some deer-in-the-headlights realness that mimicked the time Rachel said, "I don't understand the question" when asked if her parents are African American.

It's trailblazing/pioneering/ahead of its time/flaw-free and funny as hell. Watch it immediately to cure any and all Tuesday blues.
