Attorney General Jeff Sessions is the latest Trump administration affiliate to get a Saturday Night Live makeover.
Starring Kate McKinnon, SNL’s version of AG Sessions played off of the 1994 classic film Forrest Gump.
Sitting at a bus stop, McKinnon explained, “Hello, my name’s Jeff, Jeff Sessions. I’m the attorney general of the whole United States.”
Nailing Gump’s southern accent SNL’s Sessions repeated an iconic phrase from the film adding, “I always say life is like a box of chocolates.” McKinnon quickly followed up, “Sure are a lot of brown ones in there.” LOL!
The five-minute long sketch followed McKinnon as she highlighted the latest drama on the political scene. Dishing on everything from Kellyanne Conway’s awkward pose in a recent photo to acknowledging Sessions’ decision to recuse from an investigation of POTUS Trump’s involvement with Russia, the skit featured appearances from SNL’s Vladimir Putin, played by Beck Bennett and Oscar award winning actress Octavia Spencer.
Channeling her character from The Help, Spencer gifted Sessions with a “special” chocolate cake that McKinnon quickly devoured. Gross!
