Hazel-E is adding author to her resume. The rapper and reality star announced that her forthcoming non-fiction book Girl Code: Ethics as a Lifestyle, co-written by Brittani Williams, will be released on April 4, 2017.

With a well-documented (and years-long) friendship with Teairra Mari and an on-again, off-again "frienemy-ship" with Masika Kalysha, the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star certainly has experience navigating female friendships while in the spotlight.

In a press release, Hazel explains what "Girl Code" means to her,

Girl Code is an unspoken set of commandments that all women should abide by. I wrote this manual to try to reprogram the principles of sisterhood back into a generation where the term 'frienemy' is more relevant than sister. As an educated woman in the public eye, I have a strong passion to represent real women in a world that praises tasteless characteristics.

Hazel is scheduled to make an appearance at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles on the release day alongside her Love & Hip Hop Hollywood co-star Fizz. Fizz will also be signing copies of his new book No Excuses: Being The Father My Son Deserves, also co-written with Williams.

If you're in LA go see these two now!
