The Houston family issued the following statement regarding her death to ABC News: "Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

Bobbi Kristina had been in a medically induced coma for about five months after being found unconscious in a bathtub on January 31. As of February 2, she had been placed on life support in intensive care at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA. A source says that she opened and closed her eyes that day. She was later transferred to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

As of June 24, Bobbi Kristina was moved into hospice care, according to her aunt Pat Houston, who spoke to E!. "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate," Pat said. "We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

A tent had been set up outside of the hospice last week to ensure that the family had privacy, according to TMZ.

Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend, is currently facing a $10 million lawsuit for allegedly assaulting her and stealing her money, according to ABC News. Bobbi Kristina had been planning to meet with a confidante about Nick on January 31, the same day the bathtub incident went down, according to People.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Brown family during this devastating time.
