VH1 Announces Its Party-Packed Summer Lineup With New Shows Like 'Daytime Divas' and Returning Favorites Like 'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood'

This new lineup is lit!

VH1 is cranking up the heat for its summer programming, and we're sure to be the place where pop culture comes to party.

All summer long, we're serving up first time series' you're bound to love along with your returning faves. First up in June is the pilot season of Daytime Divas led by veterans Vanessa Williams and Tichina Arnold. The brand spankin' new series follows the drama-filled lives of reigning talk show hosts who captivate the world on camera but bring the claws out backstage. You'll also get a glimpse into the super private life of Latin singing sensation Ricky Martin with Ricky Martin Project. And if you thought Basketball Wives this season is getting real, wait till you feast your eyes on Baller Wives where Miami's most high profile couples give us a glimpse into their super luxurious yet complicated lives.

Of course, you know we haven't forgotten about these staple shows. Black Ink Crew: Chicago and Love & Hip Hop Hollywood are picking up where they left off, only with a few new faces and, as expected, new drama.

What happens when a super connected cast has to unplug and live in the most rad decade ever? No smart phones, Wi-Fi or GPS allowed in this house but tons of the flyest fun, fashion and pop culture moments will be rebooted back to reality. Hosted by Lance Bass and full of cameos from the 90’s most beloved celebrities. VH1 President Chris McCarthy explains, "The '90s resurgence is such a big and resonant force that is still going on in culture, we wanted to run into it and a take a group of Millennials that have the love of the 90s and the nostalgia and bring them back into the 90s so they have the music, the TV, the sound and the product the 90s but also the technology of the 90s — 90s cell phones, dial-up — seeing what that culture clash looks like.”

SCARED FAMOUS

OCTOBER 2017

A reality fright fest where 10 celebrities move into a haunted house but only one makes it out alive, will air in the October Halloween frame. McCarthy calls Scared Famous an “over-the-top murder mystery in the reality space.”

In addition to these new series, returning faves like RuPaul's Drag Race, Basketball Wives, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, Black Ink Crew: Chicago, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, Shaunie’s Home Court, America's Next Top Model with Tyra Banks back to host, and second season pick-ups of Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party and Hip Hop Squares executive produced by Ice Cube, will all be coming back in the summer and fall of 2017.
