Katy Perry Sports a New Look That's Kardashian Approved

There's a new Kardashian swagger jacker on the rise, and she goes by the name of Katy Perry.

The "Chained to the Rhythm" songstress channeled one of the reality television family's go-to looks in a recent IG post. Rocking two bleached blonde cornrows, a neutral/glam makeup beat and a curve hugging bodysuit, Perry dubbed her 'lewk' "Katy Kardashian."

Kim Kardashian gave the look her stamp of approval by liking Katy's IG post and leaving several fire and kissy emojis in the comments. Kim's youngest sister, Kylie Jenner joined in on the fun by liking the pic as well.

This spot on recreation isn't Katy's first celebrity inspired makeover. Just one day before revealing her Kardashian inspired 'do, Perry sported spiked blonde hair and black shades channeling celebrity chef Guy Fieri. She beamed, "happy #420, #nationallookalikeday and now #nevergettinglaidday @guyfieri."

Perry's makeup artist Hung Vanngo reposted the Kardashian inspired makeover and revealed that it's from a #secretproject. Hmmm, we wonder what Katy has up her sleeves.

VH1 asked three ladies of different races to wear their hair in cornrows for one week to gain some perspective on the subject of cultural appropriation.
