Twitter erupted in anguish after McDonald's announced it's plans to discontinue the classic Hi-C Orange Lavaburst drink.

The thought of losing the orange flavored juice sent Twitter users into an uproar resulting in a series of hilarious replies.

Some users were devastated by McDonald's big news.

Others couldn't help but reflect on their long term relationships with Hi-C Orange Lavaburst.

While many users spoke out in anguish over the discontinuation, others just couldn't see what the big deal was.

McDonald's plans to starting phasing out the fan favorite this week. Sprite's TropicBerry will replace Hi-C, marking McDonald's new partnership with Coca Cola.
