This is 'Berry' exciting!

The beautiful Halle Berry is the latest star to join the Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms celebration going down next Monday. VH1’s 2nd annual Mother’s Day celebration will honor moms everywhere, but Halle’s tribute will be a special one.

The Oscar-winning actress will give a distinct honor to a mother from the non-profit domestic violence organization called the Jenesse Center. Berry will appear alongside the previously announced guests Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, Robin Thicke, Maxwell and DJ Khaled.

Berry, who won an Academy Award for her role in the film Monster’s Ball, will star in the upcoming film Kingsman: The Golden Circle debuting in September. On top of that, she recently wrapped Deniz Gamze Erguven’s Kings, which focuses on the 1992 Los Angeles riots following the infamous Rodney King case.
