Chris Paul Shows Love to the Real MVP in His Life at 'Dear Mama'

Love and basketball IRL.

Chris Paul and his brother C.J. threw their mother Robin Paul a huge assist at Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms last night. Their heart-warming gesture was payback for the life-shaping assists that Mama Paul has dished out to her boys. In the video tribute, Chris and C.J. open up about how much of a major role their mother played in their basketball careers.

"It takes a strong women to not only carry a child but to be a mother, and that's what we've been able to have," says Chris. "When I was in the eighth grade my mom was the coach, because we were tired of my dad being the coach every year."

Even though the testosterone levels were at an all time high with three men in their house Miss Robin was still running point.

The Paul brothers go on to thank their mother for the hard work she put in to get them to join AAU basketball, which, as we know, lead Chris to become an NBA superstar today. "AAU basketball has taken us all over the world and it has been because of our parents resources, and them working hard in order to get us to point A to point B," says C.J.

Robin Paul, you're the real MVP. Get this woman a trophy!
