Obama Didn't 'Exactly' Compliment 'Love & Hip Hop' But the Atlanta Cast Is Still Honored to Receive a Shout Out From Our Former President

"It just shows how big Love & Hip Hop Atlanta really is."

Y'all already know Barack Obama will forever be known as one of the smartest and swaggiest Presidents to date (come back!) so when he name-dropped Love & Hip Hop in one of his presidential speeches, the cast couldn't help but get hype. (Seriously, come back!)

There are many dirty little secrets harbored by the Atlanta cast but first show creator Mona Scott-Young takes a pause to point out their successes in this highlight from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: Dirty Little Secrets 2. Since being on the show, life has been good for some of your faves, as millions of fans tune in every week. Joseline, Stevie, and Karlie all feel like they are solely responsible for the dope ratings, but everyone's crazy personalities collectively made sure the cast held down that #1 spot. Executive Producer Stephanie Gayle describes the rush she felt when she initially heard the show's shout out. Mimi points out that although Obama didn't exactly mean it as a compliment, it's still amazing to know that the "Leader of the Free World" sees them shining out here.

Presidential shout outs aside, Scrappy feels since being on the show, he has a lot more fans now. Mimi is always getting offered relationship advice she never asked for. Elderly women are trying to get on Stevie's bus and Tommie isn't a scammer anymore. Joseline Hernandez is thankful fans were able to witness her versatility and is proud to have been a guest star on MTV's Wild N' Out (that is huge!)

Congrats to the cast for continuously blessing us with some very messily entertaining stuff each and every week. Salute! (Momma Dee voice) Don't miss an all new Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, next Monday at 8/7c!
