"Trump is innocent. How do we know? Because he told us so, period."

From mocking Donald Trump's inauguration crowd size to celebrating "probably our last Easter on earth," Saturday Night Live has consistently been bringing the heat to the POTUS and his administration. Things came to a head this week when Melissa McCarthy reprised her role as Press Secretary Sean Spicer and met President Trump, played by Alec Baldwin, for the first time.

Aidy Bryant began the sketch starring as Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in the absence of Secretary Spicer. "Sean is fulfilling his duty as the officer in the Naval Reserve, and that is why he cannot be here," Huckabee Sanders said before a reporter replied, "I’m pretty sure I can see him hiding in those bushes."

SNL's Spicer eventually made his grand entrance into the White House Briefing Room where he took questions on Trump's recent decision to fire FBI director James Comey. "Let me just put this whole Russian thing to bed once and for all. Trump is innocent. How do we know? Because he told us so, period," McCarthy said shutting down rumors of Trump's alleged involvement with Russia.

After taking a few more questions, Spicer ventured out on a trip to New York's Trump Tower via a motorized podium, but somehow wound up on a New Jersey golf course. After meeting SNL's Trump, who happened to be playing with a toy, the pair engaged in a kiss stunning viewers and audience members alike.

"I can’t, I have a wife! I took vows," SNL's Spicer said. Trump quickly replied, "I’m famous — it’s okay." LOL!

VH1 hosted a Black Women In Comedy event featuring SNL’s Ellen Cleghorne alongside some of today’s brightest comics. Watch their discussion in the panel below.
