Have You Noticed Michelle Williams Killing It With Her Style Transformation Lately?

#PoorMichelle where?

*Taps mic* – have ya’ll gotten a glimpse of Michelle Williams lately?

The Destiny’s Child member is buzzing in these social media streets with her style glow up and we’re loving every minute of it. Of the three DC ladies, Michelle has traditionally been the most conservative with her wardrobe – opting for more demure looks that cover the arms and show only moderate amounts of leg. But thanks to the genius touch of stylist J. Bolin, Michelle is switching it up with vibrant prints, chic head wraps, and billowy, show-stopping skirts. We’re absolutely living for this this #OOTD slayage!

The new look strikes us as more than a simple makeover – it signifies that despite popular opinion, Michelle refuses to live in anyone’s shadow. The singer has often been the subject of comparisons to her group mates BeyoncĂ© and Kelly Rowland. To celebrate her “new me, who dis” journey, she captioned #PoorMichelle in one of her IG glamour shots – taking back power from the hashtag that attempted to put her at the bottom of the DC totem pole. Girl, you betta!

Michelle’s transformation isn’t just outward either. “It took me about two years to get to this place of PEACE and JOY,” she wrote in an emotional post. “I just wanna continue to encourage you. You’re not alone!! We do have a responsibility too……my responsibility is to guard this peace and joy by setting BOUNDARIES!!!! Everyday is NOT gonna be peaches n cream but I can definitely make sure that my surroundings keep me thriving!!! I encourage you to do the same!”
