Based off of Star Jones' book, Satan's Sisters, Vanessa plays Maxine Robinson, the creator and executive producer of the daytime talk show, The Lunch Hour. Alongside a great group of writers, Vanessa draws the most inspiration from Star, who is legit a triple threat: journalist, lawyer, and a philanthropist (among other things). Vanessa may not have The View experience like Ms. Jones, but she has co-hosted before and fully understands what it takes to produce top-notch programming.
