Fiona Gubelmann Plays the Lone Conservative Heather Flynn-Kellogg on the Scripted Series 'Daytime Divas'

“Maybe we don’t have the same viewpoints, but I can understand wanting to speak up for oneself.”

Fiona Gubelmann may not agree with her character Heather Flynn-Kellogg on a lot, but she still thinks that the role is "an actor's dream."

In VH1's new scripted series Daytime Divas, Gubelmann plays a conservative, God-fearing woman who is the only co-host with such beliefs on the fictional daytime talk show "The Lunch Hour."

It was initially difficult for Gubelmann to channel Heather since her viewpoints differ so much from the character's. However, she eventually connected to Heather's love of her children, her intelligence, and her opinionated nature – all while drawing inspiration from people similar to Heather from her hometown.

Catch the premiere of Daytime Divas on Monday, June 5th at 10/9c!
