DJ Self Responds to the Rumor That He Set Safaree Up to Be Jumped By Meek Mill's Crew

Love & Hip Hop star DJ Self is clearing his name after rumors surfaced that he was somehow involved in the fight between Safaree and several men Safaree claims were sent by Meek Mill.
According to Self, who was seen talking to Safaree moments before the incident occurred, says it was all a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. In a video posted to Instagram Self explained, "To protect my name and my brand, I feel like I have to address this. It was an issue that happened yesterday, and both parties are good friends of mine. I rock with both of them, and I do not like to get in between people’s beef. And if I do, I like to squash it as opposed to provoke it."
The Gwinin Entertainment frontman continued, "Now, it was no way, no how where I could ever line somebody up or set somebody up. First of all it was impossible for me to do that because I didn’t know that either party was gonna be there. When I got up there, I saw one of my friends, and I was talking to him…then another friend pulled up, and it just happened."
Self continued to flat out deny any involvement in his caption for the brief video. He wrote, "The internet is undefeated. smh neva would I set up - line a man. I wish we all can make great music. We all was in a place at the wrong time. Let's make great music. Please stop listening to silly rumors. ...... watch the blogs don't post this, But promote the f-kery."
DJ Self knows a thing or two about mediating. Watch him attempt to get Mariahlynn and Major Galore to take their beef from the streets on to the stage.
