Although JAY-Z and Kanye West were all smiles after Blue Ivy’s birthday party in January, the rappers appear to be on the outs again.

According to TMZ, Hov and Ye’s most recent split stems from a money dispute related to JAY-Z’s Tidal.

West reportedly brought in an estimated 1.5 million new subscribers to the online streaming service following the release of his Life of Pablo album and was owed $3 million for his help in boosting subscription numbers. Once West realized he wouldn’t be receiving his bonus, his lawyers reportedly sent a letter to Tidal claiming the company was in breach of their contract thus leading him to leave the company.

The “Famous” rapper also claimed that the company was supposed to reimburse him for the cost of various music videos and failed to come through.

While Kanye claims he’s done with Tidal, sources close to TMZ claim that the company replied to Yeezy in a letter saying that he was still legally under contract and could be sued if he tried to go to another streaming service.

News of JAY-Z and Kanye West’s most recent fall out comes days after Hov alluded to problems brewing between the two emcees in his new album 4:44.

Speaking of 4:44, Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, is reportedly upset that JAY-Z dissed her hubby on the track “Kill Jay-Z.” Complex claims that the reality starlet “thinks it was a low blow to diss Kanye and throw around words like ‘insane’ after all he’s been through.”
