Queen Momma Dee and her husband King Ernest have had their fair share of ups and downs on the past few seasons of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta but based on this reunion, it seems that order has been restored in the palace.
Despite the husband-momma-drama that Ernest and Dee faced this season, Ernest admitted two important things at the reunion: (1) He, his mom and Dee all get along and love each other and (2) He knows that his wife is crazy and loves her anyway. The disconnect that still appears to be there is how much time Ernest spends with his mom dukes and the impact that it has on building the romantic relationship he has with his wife. Despite the shots that she takes at him (she calls Ernest Pinocchio and his momma Peter Pan), Dee quickly flips the script to give her man a compliment and praise him for finally paying bills.
Ernest wants us to know that he’s no scrub and that he didn’t just start paying them but then Momma Dee comes back to set the record straight: she’s the giver, he’s the taker and lies about how much money he actually has because he hides it and she’s found the hiding spot.
Regardless of the mini-shots, it costs a lot to run a palace and it’s a good thing bills are being paid and Ernest is pulling his weight.
