The girls trip to Jamaica this season was supposed to be relaxing in theory but proved yet again that when it comes to the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta nothing ever goes as planned.
We were all glad that Shawne came after he proposed to Dime but all Kirk did was aggravate Rasheeda and all Joc did was bring the drama, aka Treasure P. From the looks of this highlight clip, it looks like Joc (and Karlie) might have done more on this trip than what we saw on the show.
Nina acknowledges that Kirk did one his infamous pop-ups on the trip and Joc says he started this pop upbeat wasn’t expecting the drama that came with bringing his intern to the Jamaica. Roughly 100% of legitimate internships don’t include a trip to Jamaica where you just go to do nothing (if for some reason you had an internship that did, where was that and are they hiring?) so everyone has some questions for Joc and his motives. He and Treasure both insist that there was no funny business whatsoever but Joc does say that he brought her because he knew Karlie would be there.
In trying to defend minding her own business while in Jamaica, Treasure says that she left a room in Jamaica to avoid the hostility that she knows the Atlanta women are capable of. Note to everyone: Don’t refer to Dime as hostile because then she becomes upset. The back and forth screaming is too much for everyone to handle and Nina, with her professional deflection skills, changes the conversation to ask if there was anything that happened between Joc and Karlie while in Jamaica.
They both stare off into the distance and remain silent. Karlie laughs, Joc tries to say nothing happens and Dime turns into Jessica Dime, Private I. With the help of Mimi, Dime creates a timeline and deduces that they all left hanging out and Karlie must have doubled back to go see Joc. Joc insists that it didn’t happen and Karlie just says that they had Jerk Chicken together.
