Taylor Swift Comes Out Victorious in Lawsuit Filed by Former DJ
By Jasmine Washington
Well that was fast. A judge has made a decision in the lawsuit against Taylor Swift brought by former radio personality David Mueller, one day after the pop star delivered her testimony.
Denver judge William Martinez dismissed Mueller's claims that Swift's accusations of being touched inappropriately by the DJ in 2013 led to him being fired.
According to People, Mueller had "insufficient evidence" to prove that Swift and co. was aware of a specific clause in his contract and knew that reporting the alleged assault would have caused his contract to be terminated.
Mueller, who was suing for damages and future earnings, was told that while he didn't prove his claim for future earnings, he could "still claim for the five months left on his contract at the time of termination."
While Mueller's case against the mega star has been dismissed, his claims against her mother are still ongoing.
#TBT to when Taylor Swift invited T.I. to perform at her concert, but T.I. was worried that performing with America's sweetheart would ruin his image.
