Chanel West Coast May Have a "New Bae," But Will She Have a Music Video After Her Blow Up With Hazel-E?
Safaree had high hopes when he asked Hazel-E to help out Chanel West Coast with her video for "New Bae," but things fall apart pretty quickly once the film gets rolling. First, Hazel-E first doesn't send Chanel or Safaree a treatment for the production, then she has her boyfriend play Chanel's new bae, and we find out that Chanel wasn't even taught the choreography before the shoot. Just when you start to think, "It's okay, once they get started it'll be fine!" things go from music video to sh-t show. Literally two seconds into Chanel's video, Hazel-E interrupts her to tell her that it isn't working for her. Chanel claps back and calls Hazel unprofessional, and suddenly, there's a girl fight.
Safaree put it best: "What kind of Girl Code is this?"
I mean, who could have predicted that Hazel would have turned into a diva director?
The best part of this highlight is probably when Hazel-E just jumps in on the choreography that she has clearly already learned. It's like a weird version of West Side Story, tbh.
