If Alex Trebek Is Rapping the 'Fresh Prince' Theme Song to Become More Relevant, It's Working

Homes has still got it.

Somewhere along Jeopardy's 200-year run, we slowly began giving less f---s about it. This is Alex Trebek's 21st year as the show's host, so can you blame this salt and peppered man for wanting to grasp our attention and hang on for dear life? On Monday night, he rapped part of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's theme song and his enthusiasm was off the charts.

This isn't the first time Trebek gave a stab at rapping. In may, he rapped part of Cypress Hill’s “Insane in the Membrane” and the Beastie Boy’s “Sabotage.” This time around might really do it for us though, because it's the nostalgic glory of Fresh Prince we're dealing with here. And we'll #NeverForget.

Here's to you, Trebek, for taking a page out of Jimmy Fallon's book and coming in hot on our radar. You did it.
