Here's What Rick Ross Had to Say About Sending 'SIGNED' Contestant King Dillon Home

"I just had to keep it real."

Sending people home on a music competition show is just the name of the game, but it still doesn't make it any less sad when you're rooting for that person to win. This week King Dillon was sent home for one-part losing and one-part quitting a rap battle against Ren. In this VH1.com exclusive interview, Rick Ross explained why he felt like it was time for Dillon's departure from the show.

It's no secret that things got awkward when Ross found out that Just Brittany and Dillon had eyes on each other, but the mogul swears that had nothing to do with his decision. Ross says he sent Dillon packing on the Greyhound home because its his job to "look at everybody's talent in a unique way" and the rap battles let him do just that. He said he followed his heart in making decisions about the art and who had the ability to stand out and in the end, he just felt like Dillon didn't have the range.
