Update:

Jim Jones isn't letting the impending hurricane steal his joy. The Vampire Life rapper took to social media sharing hilarious weather updates.

Rocking a blazer, button down shirt and pink boxer briefs, he dished out advice to fellow Floridians "They put double red flags on the beach that mean ain't nothing popping on the beach. Don't be stupid. Don't try to bring out no jet skis," he said before getting cut off by actual news anchors.

While thousands of Miami residents are evacuating ahead of Hurricane Irma's arrival, rapper Jim Jones was left no other choice but to stay and ride the category 4 storm out.

He tried to find a way out of South Florida before the storm arrived, but just about every means wound up being a dead end. "I tried to get out of here it was no flights. I tried to get a private jet, there was no fuel in Miami... Just to get to Orlando it was like 12 hours," he explained in a recent video to TMZ.

No worries though, Jimmy's got more than enough food to keep him full during the hurricane. "I went shopping like I'm gonna be here for two years." Out of all of the storm snacks to hoard, he piled up on cereals like Cap'N Crunch and Raisin Bran.

Hurricane Irma is expected to make landfall in Florida with expected wind gusts of 100-160 mph on Sunday morning.
