'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' Stars Share Their Favorite Mariah Carey Hip Hop Moments

"She's also one of those trailblazers of the genre hip hop and R&B."

If you haven't heard already, queen diva Mariah Carey will be a honoree at the upcoming Hip Hop Honors: The 90's Game Changers. In preparation to celebrate how she blazed a trail that married the worlds of R&B music and hip-hop, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood stars Brooke Valentine, Teairra Mari, A1, and Moniece Slaughter gathered for a roundtable discussion about all things Mariah. Hosted by Rocsi Diaz, the roundtable dives into the most inspiring qualities from the iconic singer and their favorite Mariah hip hop moments.

"'Honey' for sure, and 'Breakdown' with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony," Teairra quickly states with everyone else in agreement.

"One of the most inspiring things about Mariah is even when she teamed up with hardcore hip hop artists she never lost her sound, she never switched up her image, and she didn't lose herself," Moniece Slaughter responds. "I think that's always inspiring when you can go from being a pop icon and collaborating with the dopest hip hop artists out, but not really lose you."
