Nelly Reportedly Arrested For Sexual Assault

The alleged attack happened on the rapper's tour bus.

Nelly has taken to social media to update his fans and supporters on his recent legal woes. The rapper flat out denied the accusations that were being made against him and announced plans to pursue legal action against his accuser.


Nelly has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman.

According to TMZ, a woman claims she was sexually assaulted by the rapper on his tour bus following his appearance on tour with Florida Georgia Line in Ridgefield, Washington.

Nelly was reportedly taken into police custody and charged with second degree rape earlier today (Oct. 7).

Nelly’s lawyer has since released a statement flat out denying the rapper’s involvement in the alleged attack. According to TMZ, Nelly’s lawyer said, “Nelly is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation. Our initial investigation, clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness. I am confident, once the scurrilous accusation is thoroughly investigated, there will be no charges. Nelly is prepared to pursue all all legal avenues to redress any damage caused by this clearly false allegation.”
