8 Things You Definitely Didn't Know About Rasheeda

She could have been an Olympic gymnast?

If you thought you knew everything there is to know about Rasheeda Frost, try again. The woman is more than just Kirk's wife and the proprietor of a fashion business. In fact, she has way more music cred than you might think, and she probably could have given Mimi a lesson on how to handle a shower rod, because she spend some quality time on the uneven bars training to be an Olympic gymnast. Who knew??

She was in a teen-girl group called Da Kaperz that broke up in 1999.

They put out one album and broke up when the three members decided to all go solo. They're pretty good!

Da Kaperz were signed to D-Lo Management. Rasheeda was under age so her mom had to sign the paperwork for the label.

And yes, D-Lo is Kirk's label, and Rasheeda is still signed to it, 18 years later. Da Kaperz was his first group.

Rasheeda and her song "My Bubblegum" were name-checked in the K-Camp feat. 2 Chainz song "Cut Her Off."

"Chew me like some bubblegum, something like Rasheeda."

She co-wrote "Do It" for The Alkoholics.

Her music has appeared on some raaaaandom soundtracks.

Like Paul Blart, Mall Cop.

Benzino's fiancé, Althea, was in her "My Bubblegum" video.

Yep, they've known each other way before they co-starred on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.

In 2010 and 2013 she was nominated for a BET "Best Female Hip Hop Artist Of The Year" Award.

She lost both times to Nicki Minaj.

She was almost an Olympic gymnast.

Rasheeda's mom revealed to us that while she was in high school, she trained with Olympic gymnastics coach Bela Karolyi at his camp in Texas. We can't believe it either!
