Cardi B and Offset are still blissfully boo’d up following their engagement, but apparently some sneaky internet trolls are going the extra mile to diminish their shine.
A YouTube video by Shawn Blazington TV reported on an alleged article Offset did with a “publication” called WubbleXL Magazine. The “writer” of said article, Booby Jones, claims Offset popped the question to Cardi B because she isn’t 100% African American. The quote reads:
“[I proposed] because Cardi is real, she’s a good woman and she’s not African-American.”
The interview proceeds with the journalist pointing out that Cardi is, in fact, a woman of color, to which he replied:
“Yeah I know but her color ain’t black and that’s why I’m marrying her, THAT WAY.”
After the interview quotes started circulating, social media erupted in anger over the comments. But everyone can simmer down because according to Cardi, the interview is faker than a $3 bill. Not only did Offset never say these things, the vloggers planting this story are just desperate for clicks. By the way, good luck finding the article because as far as we’ve searched, WubbleXL Magazine doesn’t even exist.
