Since news of Meghan Markle's engagement to Prince Harry went viral, just about everything she's touched has turned to gold.

The winter white LINE peacoat she sported while posing for photos with her newly confirmed fiancé has sold out, and now, the handbag she sported in her first official royal appearance with Prince Harry has followed suit.

Reps for the Leeanne Hundleby, the Scottish brand that provided Markle with the burgundy leather Strahberry tote, told The Telegraph, "It's just amazing for us, it really is the greatest."

The 45-year-old mother-of-four had no clue of Markle's engagement at the time that she that sent the actress the lavish purse.

Crediting the "Kate effect," a nod to Markle's soon-to-be sister-in-law Kate Middleton, Hundleby said, "It was a fantastic surprise and we are really excited. We’re suddenly incredibly busy."
