Ray J is About to Spread His TV Star Wings as a Co-Host on This Daytime Talk Show

The hosts of The Real set the record straight the following day to confirm that although they loved having Ray J as a guest, he was just pulling our leg about becoming the fifth host. "I talked with the executives and producers and there’s no talks of hiring you, Ray J," co-host Loni Love joked at the top of the episode.

Love & Hip Hop Hollywood's very own Ray J is most certainly on his grind this year and just signed on for another TV appearance you'll definitely be excited about. Say hello to The Real's new co-host!

The reality star posted an Instagram photo of himself standing with the four staple hosts of The Real announcing the good news. "Looks like a got a new job!!! Stay tuned!! #TheRealwithRayJ #telepictures #DaytimeTV," he writes in the caption.

Now, we know since the show parted ways with former host Tamar Braxton, the producers have been shaking things up by inviting celebrities like Monica, Tina Knowles, Eve, and Evelyn Lozada to fill in as guest co-hosts. That could very well be the case here, but the nature of Ray J's announcement makes it seem like this could be a bit more permanent.

Just after Thanksgiving, Ray J was a guest on the show, where he chose to share that he and his wife Princess are expecting. Apparently, folks at the show enjoyed him so much they invited him back to try his luck in the host's chair.
