Vanessa Williams Marries Jim Skrip on Fourth of July

What better day of the summer to get hitched than fourth of July. Vanessa Williams and her fiance Jim Skrip said "I do" during the holiday in New York. "Road trip for the holiday weekend," the new bride tweeted just two days before tying the knot.

Williams, the singer/actress, met Skrip, former accountant, in Egypt back in 2013. A year later they were engaged. This is the third marriage for Williams. She shares daughters Melanie, 28, and Jillian, 26, and son Devin, 22, with ex-husband Ramon Hervey, whom she was married to from 1987 to 1997. She and Rick Fox split in 2005 after six years of marriage, and share daughter Sasha, 15.
