Melody Refuses to Return to Black Ink After Donna Wrongfully Accused Her of Grand Theft

No amount of money will bring Melody back to the shop after being disrespected the way she was. She has way too much dignity for that, and not even Sky can persuade her.

In this Black Ink Crew highlight, Sky pulls up to Mel's mobile home to beg the manager to take her job back. Melody isn't in the mood and explains that the only reason she agreed to meet is because Sky didn't accuse her so there are no hard feelings. Knowing Melody is hard up for money, Sky thinks this ask will be a piece of cake but she quickly learns Mel's a hard sell. Donna accused Melody of grand theft which is no small thing. Even learning that no one took the money makes no difference; that was foul.

To make matters worse, no one defended Melody and then Sky lays on the guilt thick. The "people miss you, we need you" speech falls on deaf ears because Melody is too hurt by the situation. Not even a triple, under-the-table raise will bring her back. Sky resorts to plan B and tells her how badly she needs her to return because she wants to go back to Atlanta. Sorry not sorry. There is no way she's going and that's that.
