She Ain't Sorry! Mama Tina Cleverly Shades the Grammys For Snubbing Her Son-in-Law JAY Z

Mama Tina done shook the table!

Tina Lawson didn't appreciate the Grammys snubbing her daughter Beyoncé last year for the coveted Album of the Year, and she's especially fed up now that the same thing has happened to her son-in-law JAY Z (the 4:44 rapper took home none of the eight awards he was nominated for.) The Carters may have taken their losses in stride, but Miss Tina has something to say (as any protective mama would.)

In another episode of "post and delete" Ms. Tina posted a dapper photo of Bey and Jay's from the awards, sprinkled with a dash of shade. "Last night at the Fammys oops I mean Grammys must have been a Freudian slip," she captioned the pic. In less than an hour, the mom of two erased the photo from her feed. But as we know, nothing really ever "goes away" on the internet. The shady subliminal was reposted and shared via every blog this side of Mississippi, including The Shade Room.

It's no secret that the Carter family has had a complicated relationship with the Grammys. Last year, Beyonce's culture-shifting album Lemonade lost Album of the Year to Adele's 25 - a sign that many believed pointed to racial bias within the voting academy.

Even before the Lemonade issue came into focus, JAY Z boycotted the Grammys for six years (beginning in 1998) and didn't return until his wife's debut album Dangerously In Love landed some nominations. Solange jumped in to echo the disappointment about her sister's loss with a tweet that pointed out the Grammy's history of inviting Black performers while not giving them awards.

Miss Tina's decision to delete the post comes as no surprise, since her two daughters aren't exactly fans of her active social media presence. "If my kids had their way, I wouldn't be on Instagram. They hate it!," she told ET.

Well sorry ladies - we happen to love it! Keep it coming, Mrs. Lawson!

How much does Beyonce love the number 4? We explore all the ways.
