Lana Del Rey Was the Target of a Failed Kidnapping Plot

Songstress Lana Del Rey was the subject of a recent kidnapping attempt. According to TMZ, Orlando police officials received word that an armed and dangerous man planned on kidnapping the singer after her concert on Friday (Feb. 2).

Orlando police officials were alerted after suspect, Michael Hunt posted “cryptic and threatening” messages about the singer on social media. Hunt was taken into police custody just one block away from the arena where Del Rey was performing. Police officials found a ticket and a knife Hunt planned on taking with him into the arena.

Hunt, who has previously served 5 prison sentences, was charged with Aggravated Stalking with a Credible Threat, and Attempted Kidnapping with a Weapon.

Despite the threat from Hunt, Lana Del Rey performed as scheduled on Friday night.
