You may know Tokyo Vanity from hyping up best friends all over the world in 2015 with her twerking anthem “That’s My Best Friend.” Now, she’s joining Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and says she’s here to represent women (and their besties) of all sizes in a way that’s never been done before.
The 23-year-old rapper from New Orleans is a self-described jellybean, she’s hard on the outside and soft on the inside. That hard exterior has previously caused her to make immature decisions but she’s grown from her past and is ready to be a role model. On top of wanting to younger girls who are tough like she was to know that things are going to be okay, she also wants to show how much she loves herself in hopes that it inspires other full figure women.
“I don’t give a f–k whether you a size 10, 3, 4, 28 or 30, I give everybody a voice. Most of us are taught to be quiet and sit in the back and speak when spoke to but, b—h, I walk ahead of the line! Don’t nobody come before me.”
She ready to succeed in the rap game and the game of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
Catch the premiere of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta on March 19 at 8/7c.
