Amara La Negra Apologizes to Fans For Fighting on 'Love & Hip Hop Miami' But Has No Regrets About Standing Up to Veronica Vega

Amara La Negra is "not really the type of chick to physically fight" but when someone tries her, she will stand her ground.

In an exclusive interview with VH1.com, Amara opens up about her experience on Love & Hip Hop Miami. Amara opened up the door to incite a powerful conversation about colorism in the Latin community, sparking a major conflict with costars Veronica Vega and Young Hollywood.

The breakout star of the season expressed that while she is ever-so-grateful to have been given this platform, she regrets allowing her former friend Veronica to get to her. "I don't apologize to her for doing that s--t," Amara admits in regards to their altercation towards the end of the season, "she deserved it, sorry. But to my fan base and the people that support me and love me, I should have handled it differently."
