Black Panther has been breaking records ever since it was announced that Ryan Coogler, who currently reigns as the youngest and the first Black Marvel director, would be leading the film. Since then, T’Challa and crew have broken down a slew of other barriers including Fandango’s presale ticket record.
Most recently, Black Panther became the top-grossing superhero film of all time in North America. Bringing in an estimated $624 million, Black Panther beat out the 2012 record established by The Avengers, who brought in $623 million.
Once news of Black Panther’s new feat went viral, fans took to Twitter instantly celebrating another huge victory for the film.
