Drew Elliott Talks With the Model Who Got Replaced by Her Best Friend in This 'America's Next Top Model' Exit Interview

"All I can be is proud because I never really expected any of this to happen to me."

This week's episode of America's Next Top Model was all about throwbacks and comebacks which meant that, even though we got to stare at Nigel Barker for an entire photo shoot, we knew there would be consequences. For one model, that meant being not only eliminated from the competition, but replaced by her best friend in the house.

With her stunning features and very trendy eyebrows, Rio Summers was a strong contender for the title of America's Next Top Model, but according to Drew, she "really peaked and then went down, down, down."

Even though the competition may not have ended the way that she wanted, the model is still grateful for the opportunity. Especially since, in 2012, Rio was homeless and having a hard time making ends meet. Flash forward to 2018, and she has learned from the best, including Miss Tyra Banks herself. While she's disappointed that she didn't make it to the end, she says, "All I can be is proud because I never really expected any of this to happen to me."

But even though she ended up being replaced by Jeana in the competition, she still considers herself part of the final four: "I'm always gonna be the original final four. OG!"
