Princess and Vee Give Kevin the Courage to Leave His Abusive Partner in this 'Beauty Bar' Highlight

After Kevin's recent incident with his boyfriend, Vee and Princess are sharing their own painful stories with domestic violence, in hopes that he'll get the courage to leave.

On the heartbreaking finale of VH1's Beauty Bar, Kevin reveals the shocking news that he got into a physical altercation with his boyfriend that left him battered and bruised. Even though he's recovered physically and is looking much better, Vee and Princess decide a dinner and much needed talk are in order. They both have personal experience dealing with an abusive partner, so they would know more than anyone that walking away is easier said than done. It's vital that Kevin knows that abuse will never be a one time thing, and that walking away now could mean the difference between life or death.

"What we need you to understand is that once you cross that line, ain't no coming back, baby. He can't un-hit you." Vee reveals that her last relationship with a man ended in abuse, and the signs of abuse don't always reveal themselves until its far too late. Princess can attest to the fact that ending an abusive relationship isn't so easy when you're in love. Kevin, now thanks to their stories and encouragement, knows that there is no excuse for someone you love to get physical with you. He feels the experience has made him stronger and is now ready for his life to move in a more positive direction.
