Teresa Kaepernick Applauds Her Son for "Sacrificing His Dreams" to Fight Injustice in This 'Dear Mama' Sneak Peek

Colin Kaepernick's mom is proud of him not just for fulfilling his dreams, but for being willing to give them up to do what's right.

Colin Kaepernick may have honored his mom at last night's Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Moms event, but it's Teresa Kaepernick who is proud of her tenacious son and his willingness to fight for what's right no matter what that may mean for him.

Teresa explains that her son has always been a dreamer and has always been tenacious in pursuit of those dreams. She says to Colin, "You were kind and patient with those who needed help since the time you were a very young child and you've always been very persistent and tenacious in pursuit of anything that you desired, but I admire that trait in you as well because it's what took you to fulfillment of your dream to be an NFL quarterback."

She isn't just proud that her son fulfilled his dream, she is proud that he is willing to give it up to fight injustice, too. "When you see injustice in this world, you are not the kind of man who sits back and hopes that someone else will deal with it even though it may mean sacrificing your dreams."

We all deserve a mom as loving and supportive as Teresa Kaepernick!
